Free pickup, vehicle upgrades and private events on Vinca Deluxe Phinisi

At 09:15 you're in the lobby with a soft bag rather than a hard suitcase. At 09:30 our driver checks your name, the bags go in the back and you're off to the harbour, about ten minutes from the airport and not much further from most hotels. By late morning you're in your cabin. That morning, from lobby to pillow, is what we promise; the sea decides the rest.

As standard, you share a car or minibus with the other guests in your group. It covers the airport, your hotel and the harbour, and it's free. A different pickup time can be arranged on request.

Families and larger groups sometimes want a vehicle of their own. The desk can quote for a Toyota HiAce with up to 12 seats, or a bigger coach; just send the number of guests, the number of bags and the pickup points. The upgrade shows up as a separate line on a written quote, never folded into the fare.

Meetings on Vinca happen at the long table under the canopy of the dining deck, with the chef at work in the open galley a few steps away. For a break, the group can retreat to the air-conditioned lounge, with its sofa, TV and bar, or head up to the bean bags on the sundeck. A company outing is a whole-boat charter for up to 18 guests, priced by guest band from IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067), with 7 crew looking after the table.

The catch is that the boat's Wi-Fi is a local hotspot off mobile signal, with no satellite link. A video call needs a mooring near Labuan Bajo and a signal we can't promise. Do anything that needs a screen share ashore, then bring the team aboard. For a strategy day with printouts and a flip chart, being mostly offline is actually a plus.

If you need a projector, a hall and a reliable connection, a hotel venue will serve you better, and we'd rather say so now. If what you want is a table, a view and a day without email, send the desk your headcount and date.

A beach dinner on Vinca means a table and umbrellas set out on the sand, lit by candles. The tender, a fibreglass boat with a Yamaha 40 hp outboard, ferries the group ashore after the sunset stop, and the chef cooks in the same open galley that feeds you on the dining deck. On a private charter of 4D3N or longer, the beach dinner is already in the fare. On a shorter trip or the open trip it's on request, and a romantic dinner for a couple starts at IDR 2,950,000 (≈ USD 181).

A seafood dinner is the same setting with a menu built around fish and shellfish. Tell the desk your headcount, the island you'd like, when you want to eat and about any shellfish allergy. For a private island dinner, we ask the captain for a beach with no other group ashore, though in July and August we can't promise an empty one.

Dinners with a special request, whether a dietary need, a birthday or a proposal, are planned the same way. The details are agreed in the quote, and we don't promise decorations that aren't listed.

Two set-ups have printed prices. The honeymoon package is IDR 3,900,000 (≈ USD 239) per couple, with the bed and the bathtub dressed and a romantic dinner. The birthday package is IDR 2,000,000 (≈ USD 123), with balloons and decorations. Neither mentions a cake, so let the desk know early and we'll tell you what the galley can manage.

The open trip already includes GoPro, mirrorless and drone footage shot by our guide. On a private charter the guide and the documentation are not in the fare and are added on request, quoted separately. A dedicated photographer, for a proposal or a family portrait, is available on request. Flying a drone in the park needs a permit and a fee, both outside our fare; the park fees page explains them. Personal photos in the park are free, but a commercial shoot needs its own permit.

For a family gathering, start by counting cabins. A Balinese room sleeps up to four with an extra bed, and children under 3 travel free with a parent or guardian.
