Booking terms for Vinca Deluxe Phinisi

These terms apply to every booking of Vinca Deluxe Phinisi made through this site, whether a cabin on the open trip or the whole boat on a charter. The seller is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, registered in Indonesia under business number 1805260128363, and based in Labuan Bajo.

By paying a deposit you accept them. If you booked for a group, you accept them for the group, and you are responsible for passing them on.

Prices are set in rupiah and include VAT of 11 percent. The dollar figures on this site are hints at a fixed rate; the invoice shows rupiah, and your bank or payment provider sets the conversion. Park fees, ranger and other levies, drone permits, diving, flights, hotels, alcohol and crew tips are not in the price.

The terms are written in plain English. If something here is unclear, ask the desk before you pay, not after.

A deposit of 50 percent confirms the date. Nothing is held until it is paid. The balance is due 30 days before departure. A booking made inside 30 days is paid in full.

You can pay by credit card through a payment link, Wise, Revolut, PayPal, QRIS, Alipay, an online payment page or bank transfer in rupiah. PayPal carries a fee of 7.2 percent. Any fee on a card link appears on the invoice before you pay.

We send an invoice before you pay anything. Match the account name on the invoice to the company named above.

Names for every guest, as they appear on their passports, must reach the desk about a week before sailing. Foreign guests also send passport numbers. Late or wrong names can delay the park ticket.

Reschedule 30 days or more before departure and there is no fee. Reschedule 14 to 29 days before and the fee is IDR 500,000. Inside 14 days the change is treated as a cancellation.

Cancel 60 days or more before departure and 50 percent of the fare is refunded. Cancel 30 to 59 days before and 25 percent is refunded. Inside 30 days nothing is refunded.

Park fees are not part of the fare and are not refundable.

If the vessel cannot sail on the booked date because of a mechanical fault or an order from the port or park authorities, the operator provides a substitute vessel of the same class or higher for the same dates at no extra cost, or, at the guest's choice, a full refund. Refunds are paid within 14 days. Travel insurance is recommended for every booking, and it should cover sea travel and cancellation.

These tiers are strict, and we state them before the deposit. If you need more flexibility than this, we are the wrong choice, and insurance is the better answer.

Itineraries are patterns, not timetables. Destinations and order can change without notice because of weather, current, tide, restrictions by the national park or port authorities, or the captain's judgement of safety. The fare does not change when the route does.

If an event we cannot control stops sailing altogether, such as a natural disaster, a government rule, an outbreak or unrest, the booking can be moved to a later departure under the reschedule terms.

The captain has final authority on board. Follow the captain's instructions and those of the guide and the park rangers. A guest who ignores safety instructions can be refused an activity.

The vessel has no stabilisers, only patchy local Wi-Fi (no satellite internet) and no diving equipment. We state this so you cannot say you were not told.

Children under 3 travel free, accompanied by a parent or guardian. From 3 up they pay the full rate. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times on stairs and decks.

Add-ons are priced separately: a romantic dinner from IDR 2,950,000 (≈ USD 181) as a minimum per couple, a honeymoon package at IDR 3,900,000 (≈ USD 239) per couple, and a birthday package at IDR 2,000,000 (≈ USD 123). A beach dinner is part of a private 4D3N and longer.

A tour guide and photo documentation are included on the open trip. On a private charter, of any length, they are not included; both can be added on request and are quoted separately.

Park entry is IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day and IDR 50,000 for Indonesians, or IDR 75,000 at weekends. Ranger, pier and snorkel levies are separate and can change.

These terms are governed by the law of Indonesia. If a dispute arises, write to the desk first at [email protected] and give us the chance to put it right. Most disagreements end there. Include the sailing date, your name, the invoice number and what you would like us to do.

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Indonesian law. If a clause cannot be enforced, the others still stand. The English text is the master copy for this site, and translations are provided for convenience; where they differ, the English text applies.
