Vinca Deluxe Phinisi
Privacy policy for the Vinca charter desk
Updated 10 October 2026
This policy explains what PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia collects when you message or book Vinca Deluxe Phinisi, why, who sees it and how long it is kept. We collect names, contact details and trip details, use only essential cookies, and never sell data. Ask for a copy or a deletion at [email protected].
What we collect
When you message the desk, we receive your name, your WhatsApp number or email address, and whatever you tell us about the trip: dates, number of guests, ages of children, cabin preference, hotel and flights.
When you book, we also need the names of every guest as printed on their passports, about a week before sailing, and passport numbers for foreign visitors. We need them to buy park tickets in your name. If you tell us about allergies, dietary needs, mobility limits or medical conditions, we record that too, because the crew cannot act on what they have not been told. You choose how much to tell us.
Payments are made through payment providers. Card details are entered on the provider's page, not sent to us. We see the amount, the date and the name on the payment.
We do not collect data from children separately. Anything about a child comes from the parent or guardian who books.
What we do with it
We use your details to answer you, to check the boat, to send a quote and an invoice, to buy park tickets, to plan food and cabins, and to contact you on the day of sailing. We use nothing else.
Some details travel with the booking. The captain, the guides and the chef see the names, the cabin plan and any allergy or health note, because they need it. The park and port authorities receive names and passport details where the rules require them. Payment providers see what they need to take the payment.
We do not sell your data and we do not rent it. If you ask for a quote and never book, that is the end of it.
If a legal duty to share information arises under Indonesian law, we will comply, and we will tell you where we are allowed to.
WhatsApp, email and cookies
Messages sent on WhatsApp pass through WhatsApp, which handles them under its own terms. The desk reads them and keeps the thread, so that the next person who picks it up knows what was agreed. Email arrives at [email protected] and is forwarded to the operator's central inbox.
This website uses essential cookies only. These are the small files needed to remember a language choice or to let a page work. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you across other sites.
The links to WhatsApp and to the maps for hotels open outside this site. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we do not control them. Check them if you are concerned.
How long we keep it, and your rights
We keep booking records for as long as the booking, tax and accounting rules in Indonesia require, and enquiries that did not turn into a booking for a shorter period. After that we delete them or anonymise them.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] from the address you used before, and say what you want. Where Indonesian law requires us to keep a record, such as an invoice, we will keep that record and delete the rest.
This policy is governed by Indonesian law. The data controller is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, registered under business number 1805260128363, in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first. Most problems are quicker to fix with a plain email than with a form. Refunds, when due, are paid within 14 days.
FAQ
Do you use tracking cookies on this site?
No. The site sets essential cookies only, such as a language choice. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. WhatsApp and the hotel map links open outside the site and follow their own policies. The desk can answer questions at [email protected].
Who sees my passport details?
The desk, the person who buys your park tickets, the captain and the park or port authorities where the rules require. We ask for names about 7 days before sailing, and passport numbers for foreign visitors only. Nobody else sees them, and we do not post them.
How do I ask you to delete my data?
Write to [email protected] from the address you used when you booked, and say what you want deleted. We will confirm and act, except for records that Indonesian tax and accounting rules oblige us to keep, such as an invoice. Those stay, and the rest goes.
Do you share my details with the hotels or partners?
Only what the pickup needs: your name, the hotel and the time. We do not give your contact details to hotels for marketing and we do not sell lists. The operator is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, registered under 1805260128363, and it is the only company that holds your booking.
